How We Met
T and I met around 2 years ago in October at a local bar in Huntington, Long Island. He was charming and handsome as ever, but I refused to give him my number. He settled for my Instagram handle. A friend request followed and numerous comments and direct messages with attempts to take me on a date. Consumed with school and work, 2 years passed before I accepted a date. Since that first date the rest is history. His persistence paid off. I have this feeling though that the time frame between that first date is irrelevant - destiny would always bring us to together.

How He Proposed
October 12, 2018 T and I ventured out to my family ski house in PA for what I thought was a a weekend of relaxing and golfing. My parents had given T’s father and wife Claire a gift certificate to golf at the nearby golf course as a recent wedding gift. A perfect reason to have both T and I’s immediate family visit PA together. We all spent that night talking, laughing and enjoying each others company into the late hours of the night over many cocktails.
October 13, 2018, the next morning we headed out to “the Hawks Nest”; a winding, cliff side stretch of road in the mountains overlooking the Delaware River. We found the perfect spot and pulled over to enjoy the breathtaking views. It was the perfect moment, with our parents there to share it with us, T whispered to me about our love and our bright future. He then got down on one knee and asked “will you marry me?”
